The Beautiful South are now in
the studio recording their new album - they are working wit Coldplay's
producer Ken Nelson and reports are that it's very different from their
previous work!
The South have announced
their first UK date for nearly 2 years - they will play a Carling
Homecoming Gig and tickets can only be obtained by entering a
competition - see carling.com

After nearly 3
years without being in the limelight, and realistically 5 years since any
hint of a hit single to remind the public who they are The Beautiful
South have come in a respectable #54 in the Virgin Radio poll of the top
100 bands of all time.
