Paul's
Tour has gone well, with most reviews being quite positive - he'll
follow up this tour with an appearance at the V2002
festival on August. Despite a positive tour neither the new
single nor the album have charted |

DVD
EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!!
Sources at Universal have confirmed that The Beautiful South's much
awaited DVD has received a preliminary release date of Monday 23rd
September.
The disc will include some promo spots and TWO live performances -
it's unclear whether that means 2 concerts or 2 songs (more likely 2
songs - like the Carry
On Up The Charts Video!
It is also unclear if the compilation will be released on VHS -
watch this space... |

I have managed to confirm with the label that it is penciled in for
September and will follow the Solid Bronze format! Get

latest news is that the Biscuit Boy album will have something of a
face lift - to make it more obvious that it's a Paul Heaton Album
and reissued with the possibility of a new single and a low key tour |

Good
news for fans, according to Dave Hemingway, making an appearance on
Radio Humberside, the band have a future but are taking a backseat
for the minute - it seems they'll be around as long as a demand.
Dave performed "One Drop Of Love" a solo piece and sounded
in good voice. |

greatest hits collection - Solid Bronze (Great Hits) a week after
the new single (Nov. 12th) |

Paul
has announced on Radio 2 that there will be no tour for Solid Bronze
and that they will wait until Jacqui's replacement has an album
under her belt before touring. This seems to contradict the
many rumours that the band are about to split up. Paul said
that he's written new love songs, and would like an American Record
deal in order to pay for a tour of the States |

seems to have been a shortage of availability in the shops with many
Beautiful South fans unable to get there hands on a copy. You

It's
here - well sort of...
Biscuit Boy (aka Crackerman (aka Paul Heaton)) has finally released
his first solo material. MITCH - the single was released on
September 3rd and reports are that there's but a shortage of
availability in the shops - the most likely reason being a cock-up
by the record company! This could mean that there will be real
problems with regards to the songs chart performance - the B'side
are quite nice though - FAT CHANCE the album is released Monday 10th
September! |
