December
After nearly 3 years
without being in the limelight, and realisticly 5 years since any hint of
a hit single to remind the public who they are The Beautiful Sputh have
come in a respectable #54 in the Virgin Radio poll of the top 100 bands of
all time.

The
Southmartins have had an excellent gig at Hull City Hall by all
accounts! The band have a number of other dates coming up - with
some competition from The Beautiful Couch who have managed to get MG
Greaves to support them during December!
Barenaked Ladies
release their hits compilation on DVD on 25th November - click HERE
to purchase it!!! If it's anything like the US edition it'll have
loads of live footage - the US edition is available through Amazon.com

Paul has confirmed
that he and Dave will enter the studio in January - this has led to
speculation that the band have found a female vocalist and that there may
even be a tour next year!!!
The DVD
has been released and while people watch and enjoy the FORUM is now the
place to discuss your thoughts on the commentary and videos!

have confirmed the provisional release date of "Bronze
- The Very Best Of..." DVD
as September 23rd. No new news about the extras but they did stress
to me that this is very much a provisional date! The DVD is still
not available for pre-order anywhere and most record shops have not heard
of it - Ahhh Mercury!!
